ROLE
Responsible for management of the Dubai office / studio with 40+ staff, Duties include: establishing deliverable programmes for all projects, setting priorities, allocation of staff, coordination of teams to achieve deadlines assisting in review / preparation of fee proposals (FP's), calculation of variation orders (VO's), reviewing / advising on contractual matters, coordinating client monthly billing and invoicing setting-up systems and efficient methods of working establishing integrity of IT mainframe / server and looking ahead to future replacement / expansion of IT HR duties include: staff recruitment / interviews, approving staff holidays / sick leave and looking ahead at workload establishing budgets for staff recruitment and related hardware / software, day-to-day problem solving, staff mentoring and staff reviews on salary and performance. When necessary, arrange for outsourcing of deliverables. Liaising / coordinating between Dubai, London and Hong Kong offices, assisting in developing efficient systems / methods of working across all country offices. Architect/PM background assists in the role of Team Leader / PM on various projects in Client-facing role including attending meetings with Client, PM, Lead Consultant and other Consultants and Contractors on project-related matters including presentations to Client, fees, contractual matters, programming, coordination of services / structure and their integration into ID areas.
